2016 AL Statewide Constitutional Amendments - Summary

Recently in the state of Louisiana, where there is no automotive aftermarket association a bill was sent to committee that would have a large and negative impact on the state's automotive aftermarket. It is in the best interest of AAAS member businesses to let our voices be heard before negative legislation is adopted in our neighboring state. Read the Louisiana Bill 559 Letter.

2016 Capitol Days - Summary

The 2016 AAAS Capitol Days were a tremendous success! AAAS member delegations for each state included the following participants: Liz Burleson-Barrett (Big Moe’s Spring and Alignment), Steve Kampworth (Auto Electric and Carburetor), Sonny Barrett (Big Moe’s Spring and Alignment), Donald Hall (Harrell & Hall), Steve Kean (Rick’s Pro Truck), Joe Ward (First Call Trucks Parts), Kierstin Turnock (LKQ), Randal Ward (AAAS President), George Ehrhard (AAAS –FL Ops), Hannah Ford (LKQ), Paulina Siodlak (LKQ), and Denise Webb (AAAS).
