North Carolina Legislative Update - Window Tint/Inspection/Approach of LEO Senate Bill 43 (SL2025-47)
Senate Bill 43 makes two key changes starting December 1, 2025:
1. Remove the safety inspection of tinted windows
2. Require a driver to lower a tinted window upon the approach of a law enforcement officer
